Roush’s latest Mustang features track-tuned performance suspension, customizable active exhaust system, competition wheel and tire package, and powertrain cooling components
LIVONIA, MICH. (April 18, 2023) – Roush Performance, an industry leader in top-of-the-line aftermarket superchargers, engines and pre-titled performance vehicles, has announced that its 2023 TrakPak Mustang is now available. Inspired by over 25 years of Roush performance engineering, the 2023 Roush TrakPak Mustang features custom-calibrated MagneRide suspension, giving the Mustang unsurpassed handling. The package also includes powertrain cooling upgrades, a performance exhaust and competition tires. Available in a 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission, this latest addition to the Roush stable is a purpose-built track machine designed for speed, power and all-out performance.
The 2023 TrakPak Mustang’s Roush-calibrated MagneRide active suspension is highly responsive for corner carving at the track yet easily transitions to comfortable daily driving. Roush powertrain cooling components include transmission and differential coolers that work in harmony with the performance oil cooling system and heat-extracting vents to decrease engine and driveline temperatures during spirited driving sessions. Gloss black or Palladium Gray Roush 20-inch wheels wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires help the TrakPak grip the pavement. Optional 20-inch high-performance Agate Gray forged wheels are available for a more pronounced look.
The Roush Active Exhaust System features an electronically controlled valve, giving the driver total control over the tone and volume of the TrakPak’s exhaust note. A Roush-branded console-mounted selector dial allows drivers to seamlessly toggle between touring, sport, track and custom modes. The exhaust exits the rear via black-tipped quad pipes. For even more control, the Active Exhaust application for iOS allows the driver to create their own unique sound profile.
The body of Roush’s latest Mustang has been engineered to bring iconic styling while enhancing functionality. High-flow corner pockets and a lower grille front chin spoiler are paired with rear aerofoils and an exclusive Roush black spoiler for improved aerodynamics. The hood and fender heat extractors provide a more aggressive look while improving heat dissipation from the engine bay. Wheel shrouds, a rear decklid Roush blackout panel, puddle lamps and Roush badging complete the exterior styling.
Roush’s designers combed over every interior detail to further customize the experience from the driver’s seat. From premium black or Amaretto Brown leather seats to serialized TrakPak badging or the Roush shift ball (manual transmission only), the TrakPak’s interior is as comfortable on surface streets as it is on the raceway.
