Custom car builder and fabricator Ringbrothers is pleased to announce that the new SPLITR carbon fiber hood for 1965-͚66 Ford Mustangs is now available to order.
Spring Green, Wisc. (March, 2016) – Carbon fiber elements are becoming more and more popular on custom builds to save weight as well as for appearance. Over the years, custom car builder Ringbrothers has perfected the art of creating custom, handcrafted carbon fiber parts and is pleased to announce it is offering the SPLITR carbon hood for 1965 and 1966 Ford Mustangs.
Each SPLITR hood (Part # 50656-9410) features integrated intake ducts and turn signal indicators for the driver. Unlike other hoods currently available, each SPLITR hood is made to order out of either high quality carbon fiber or fiberglass that has been vacuum bagged and autoclaved for exceptional fit and finish. Further adding to its strength are a Nomex honeycomb core and aluminum hard points which allow you to drill and tap the hood for hinges and a latch. The SPLITR hood is also made with an in-mold catalyzed primer which makes finishing body work much easier.
The lead time on made to order parts can vary so please give Ringbrothers a call at 608-588-7399 for a more accurate estimate.
