Originally developed for the F100 “Clem101” that debuted at the 2017 SEMA Show, new Billet Hood Hinge Kit for the 2nd Gen (1953-’56) Ford F100 incorporates Ringbrothers’ patented gas strut architecture for smooth operation and joins the brand’s growing line of parts for classic pickups that are engineered and manufactured with pride in Wisconsin.
SPRING GREEN, Wis. (May 2018) – Ringbrothers, the internationally acclaimed custom car builder and billet parts manufacturer, has announced its new Ford F100 Hood Hinges, expanding its billet product line for classic American trucks.
Originally developed on the shop’s 1956 Ford F100 show vehicle “Clem 101,” the 1953-’56 Ford F100 Hood Hinge is engineered as a direct replacement for stock hinges. Not only do the solid design hinges look good, but they also allow the truck hood to open and close with ease in the same position every time, making proper panel gap and hood alignment easier.
Manufactured in the U.S.A using aerospace-grade 6061-T6 billet aluminum, the Ringbrothers Ford F100 Hood Hinge Kit (Part # 1093-51536) is precision engineered to work with both fiberglass and steel hoods with no additional modifications necessary and is available in two finishes – natural and black anodized.
Like all Ringbrothers products, the new F100 Billet Hood Hinges were designed, engineered, machined and test-fit in-house in the Ringbrothers shop in Spring Green, Wisconsin to ensure the highest quality product is being produced.
