After 200 episodes, the popular automotive program now features guests driving their prized vehicles, and is available via Facebook and YouTube video in addition to the audio podcast
Los Angeles (March 1st, 2018) – The Petersen Automotive Museum’s CarStories podcast features an expanded format for its fourth season, offering more ways for fans to enjoy the content and hear people’s stories about their love affair with the automobile. Fans can listen to the audio podcast as they always have and watch the episode on Facebook or YouTube when it goes live on Thursday mornings.
Rather than the previous studio setting, guests share their stories from behind the wheel as they drive around Southern California. The new season highlights guests such as automotive YouTuber and podcast host Matt Farah, who produces one of the most popular series on the web titled “The Smoking Tire.” Interviewed by host James McKeone, Farah drives his Mountune Ford Focus RS through the canyons of Malibu.
“Our mission is to share the stories of amazing vehicles and their passionate owners with fellow car lovers from around the world,” said Petersen Executive Director Terry L. Karges. “This new format offers viewers a more comprehensive look at both our guests and their vehicles, allowing them to be in the car, riding around L.A., hearing the car’s sounds, and taking part in the conversation.”
Season four guests also include The Thermal Club Founder Twanna Rogers and her 1932 Three-Window Chop-Top Ford, renowned automotive photographer Larry Chen and his 1970 Datsun 240z named “Ole Orange Bang,” and Petersen vice-chairman Bruce Meyer and his 1957 Porsche 356 “Outlaw.”
Subscribers can tune in each Thursday on Shout Engine, Facebook, and the museum’s official YouTube page to catch the newest episodes. To learn more about CarStories and the Petersen Automotive Museum, please visit www.petersen.org.
