Cypress, Calif. (April 1, 2020) – Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc., a leading manufacturer of off-road, street and SUV performance tires, has announced the launch of a new competition drag radial tire, the Nitto 555RII. The NT555RII works in unison with the NT555 G2™ summer performance street tire, so you can put the drag radials on the rear axle and the NT555 G2s on the front.
The NT555RII is a D.O.T.-compliant competition drag radial designed with additional flexibility for the weekend drag racer. The high-grip compound and semi-racing construction provide increased traction at the starting line, while the large circumferential grooves aid wet handling on the street.
