The new brand, by Mullin Automotive Museum Founder and CEO, Peter Mullin, is inspired by iconic French vehicles from Mullin’s own collection
Oxnard, Calif. (August 7th, 2019) – Mullin Estate Wines, the producer of world-class gourmet wines inspired by the legendary French automobiles of the Mullin Automotive Museum, announced today it will serve all four of its distinctive bottlings at the McCall’s Motorworks Revival on Wednesday, August 14, 2019.
Guests of the event will be able to sample the 2016 Rosso Umbria IGT, a full-bodied young blend inspired by Mullin’s 1930 Bugatti Type 46 Cabriolet. Other wines on display will include 2016 Syrah Umbria IGT, an elegant and powerful vintage drawing inspiration from the 1937 Talbot-Lago Type 150-C-S “Teadrop” along with 2016 Sangiovese Umbria IGT, the “crown jewel” of the line featuring a selection of grapes indigenous to the Umbria region of Italy and inspired by the 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic. The last of the wines on display will be 2018 Grechetto Umbria IGT, an airy and breathtaking white wine inspired by the “Star of India” 1938 Delahaye 135M bodied by Figoni.

Now in its 28th year, McCall’s Motorworks Revival is renowned as the “Kick-Off” to Monterey Car Week. The exclusive event brings over 3000 guests to the tarmac of the Monterey Jet Center amidst a selection of luxurious private jets, iconic classic cars and gourmet food and wine.

The Mullin Automotive Museum is located at 1421 Emerson Avenue, Oxnard, CA 93033, in the building formerly occupied by the Otis Chandler Vintage Museum of Transportation and Wildlife.
