New AMA-sanctioned motorcycle road racing series supported by Dorna and FIM selects Southern California firm to handle mainstream public relations, social media marketing, creative work and branding.
Costa Mesa, Calif. (October 29, 2014) – MotoAmerica, the new North American professional motorcycle road racing series, has named Ventura County-based Kahn Media Inc. as its communications agency of record. Kahn Media will coordinate mainstream public relations, branding, social media marketing, branding and creative collateral for the new AMA-sanctioned professional racing series.
The MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Motorcycle Road Racing Championship Series rocked the motorcycle road racing world when it announced plans in early September to reinvigorate professional road racing in the United States with the goals of engaging a new generation of fans and bringing one of the fastest and most exciting forms of motorsport competition back to the forefront of American motorsports. The new series will utilize television, social media, fan-generated content and more to create an incredibly exciting experience for both dedicated fans and those new to the sport.
“Kahn Media is a valuable asset for our series,” said MotoAmerica principal Richard Varner. “The agency has several high-profile clients in the performance industry and a multi-year track record of developing audiences for new and established brands. Kahn Media also has a former AMA Pro SuperSport National Champion on staff, so the agency is well-positioned to help us reinvigorate motorcycle road racing in America.”
One of the largest boutique marketing firms in the automotive/powersports industry, Kahn Media has already helped launch MotoAmerica’s communications efforts, including logo and web designs, apparel concepts and social media management. The agency has also conducted media outreach on behalf of MotoAmerica.
“We are honored to be selected as MotoAmerica’s agency of record,” said Kahn Media president, Dan Kahn. “This is an exciting opportunity to help build a national racing series from the ground up. We’re looking forward to helping MotoAmerica grow while we expose a new generation of fans to one of the most extreme forms of racing on earth. If this helps prep an American for a future podium in MotoGP, even better.”
