Callaway Cars adds forced induction to the C8 Corvette platform and offers a sneak peek for attendees of the legendary Corvette-only event in Pennsylvania
Old Lyme, Conn. (August 25, 2022) — Callaway Cars has announced the extension of its supercharged vehicle line with a preview of the upcoming system for the Chevrolet Corvette C8 platform. Commemorating the 35th anniversary of the Callaway and Corvette relationship, the GM specialist is offering a first look at the development vehicle for attendees of Corvettes at Carlisle on August 25-28, 2022.
The TripleCooled® Supercharger System configured for LT2-equipped Corvette Stingrays will undergo final engineering, emissions compliance testing and performance validation in the upcoming months, with production commencing in early 2023. This upgrade is designed for those looking to reliably increase the already-outstanding performance of their C8 Corvette.
Serialized production slots at Callaway’s Connecticut and California facilities can be reserved now with a $1,000 deposit. The supercharged Stingrays are constructed exclusively by Callaway and sold through Callaway’s Authorized Chevrolet Dealer Network. In-service 2020-23 Stingrays will also be eligible for conversion through Callaway’s 2nd Chance program.
As with all Callaway products, Callaway Supercharged Corvette C8 Stingrays are backed by three year/36,000 mile powertrain warranty which supplements the vehicles’ factory warranties. An optional five year/60,000 mile Callaway Powertrain Service Contract is also available, and services can be performed at GM dealers.
