The new Auto-Alley Exhibit features a fully functional 3D-printed engine, a serviceable car, and an interactive gas pump among other hands-on learning experiences
KEARNEY, Neb. (March 22, 2024) BluePrint Engines founders Norris and Lori Marshall led an effort alongside other generous donors to establish the interactive “Auto Alley” exhibit at the Kearney Area Children’s Museum in Nebraska. The one-of-a-kind exhibit features engaging and hands-on displays to inspire the next generation of automotive enthusiasts.
The “Auto Alley” exhibit features a fully functional 3D-printed cutaway engine, designed and manufactured by BluePrint Engines’ engineering team. This intricate piece showcases the inner workings of an engine, providing a hands-on learning experience for young minds. Also included in the exhibit is a serviceable car (designed by creative group BIG) as well as an interactive gas pump and service parts crib.
The all-new $65,000 “Auto Alley” is more than just a museum exhibit; it is a gateway to inspiration for the next generation of gearheads. By providing children in the Kearney area with access to hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education, BluePrint Engines aims to ignite a passion for engine technology, engineering and automotive technology.
