The Business Intelligence Group award for External Campaign of the Year recognizes Kahn Media’s work in launching an unprecedented four Ringbrothers vehicles at the SEMA Show

The national award recognizes the multi-discipline campaign Kahn Media designed and executed for long-term client Ringbrothers to launch four custom vehicles at the 2022 SEMA Show.

The prestigious and wide-ranging Business Intelligence Group Awards span 10 different categories, including new additions in artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity. An esteemed panel of industry experts comprises its panel of judges that selects winners from a multitude of entrants. The Public Relations & Marketing Excellence Award category recognizes “agencies and corporate departments alike who accelerate their brand’s growth through exposing and promoting great business stories.”

Ringbrothers is a world-renowned builder of highly bespoke and innovative custom vehicles. To maximize the impact of its unprecedented multi-vehicle launch at the largest global automotive aftermarket trade show, Kahn Media crafted a strategic hybrid campaign involving every one of its inter-agency specialist teams. Individual media lists were created for each Ringbrothers vehicle, spanning automotive, lifestyle, 4×4/offroad, mainstream national publications and more. Hero cards, signage, booth backdrops, banners, social media teasers and reels, and more were generated in-house to support each vehicle debut. Embargoed press releases, photography and video assets were pre-pitched to key media before the show to ensure immediate coverage coinciding with the vehicle unveils from both SEMA show attendees and those covering it remotely. On-site support was also provided with Kahn Media coordinating press conferences for each unveiling and generating further media attendance through an SMS text campaign during the show. A post-show press release was also developed and distributed to announce Ringbrothers’ winning the coveted Battle of the Builders competition, driving further excitement around the vehicle launches.

The highly coordinated and targeted campaign resulted in hundreds of media mentions of the four new Ringbrothers vehicles across a global audience. Over 300 media placements in several languages were secured across the U.S., Europe, Asia and Central and South America, all without use of a wire or release distribution service. The coverage of the launch of Ringbrothers’ highly labor-intensive and intricately-crafted “ENYO” super truck and its other vehicles also created massive interest across social media. Over 13,000 new followers were organically added to Ringbrothers’ Instagram channel alone over the course of the campaign.
