POWAY, Calif., December 7, 2016 – BILSTEIN Shock Absorbers will unveil their SN2/SNS2 Series shock absorber with the all-new Base Valve Technology at the 2016 PRI Show. With the addition of the all new modular base valve, the SN2/SNS2 provides the ability to run ultra-low gas pressures with increased grip and tire life. The modular design can be used with a Schrader valve or plug and is racer re-buildable using the new BILSTEIN gas fill tool. This innovative technology caters to classes requiring steel body shocks and is available with small bulb end caps in aluminum (SN2 Series) or steel (SNS2 Series) to meet various sanctioning body requirements.
In addition to the SN2/SNS2 Series, BILSTEIN will have more than 25 motorsports products on display in their larger, peninsula style booth (#2001). The product lineup ranges from circle track, to road-race, to professional off-road racing shocks.
BILSTEIN will also feature Mike McKinney’s Elite Chassis UMP Modified race car equipped with the all new SNS2 Series shocks. McKinney ended the year strong, capturing the Kankakee County Speedway Track Championship, the Fairbury American Legion Speedway Track Championship, and the UMP DIRTcar Northern Illinois Region Championship. He totaled 17 Feature wins, 27 Top 5’s, and 33 Top 10’s in 43 events! McKinney’s newly wrapped Modified race car will certainly be a show stopper. Come by the booth to check it out and say hello to the BILSTEIN Team.
